[Chapter Seven: Recruitment]

Fist of the Empire has a sub-guild called Fist of the Empire Potential Recruit (FoE PR).  The sub-guild system is an organizational divide to provide a stress free way to allow potential members to evaluate FoE and for FoE to evaluate them.  Potential Members or Potential Recruits (PR) are treated the same as members, however PRs do not have access to Guild Chat on the UGC or member forums.

To become a member of FoE PR, players should do the following:

  1. Register on fistoftheempire.com

  2. Fill out an application (only registered users can)

  3. Optional, put a post in the recruitment forums with the following format:  Title of Post: [Name in Game] – [Game],   Body: (Post a quick hello, highlighting any thing you     want to say)

  4. The S1 will contact and do an interview on TeamSpeak

Once the player has been interviewed and is registered on the website they will be tagged into FoE PR.  This begins the four week evaluation period.  At the end of the period, members that make the cut will be allowed into the guild, those that don’t but need work can go through an additional evaluation period, where at the end of two weeks if there is no noticeable improvement they will be removed from FoE PR.

The recruitment process culminates with a Guild induction across all games on TeamSpeak.  PRs will be required to show at a designated place in-game and receive a brief from the Guild Leader.
Standards for a PR:  There are a few things that PRs can do that will facilitate success in joining the guild.

Be on TeamSpeak:  The best way to socialize is to be on TS and engage people in conversation.  Listen to conversations and try to become part of the guild, this is a PRs time to realize if they want to be part of FoE or not.

Know the Rules:
FoE has few rules and its best to know them.  PRs that know the rules won't make simple mistakes that could jeopardize them from getting into the guild.

Know the Leadership:
Nothing is more embarrassing for a PR than not knowing who the leadership is.  PRs should know who their immediate supervisor is in the Support Chain and who the MSC CDR, S1, and Guild Leader are.

Learn about the Guild:
PRs should familiarize themselves with the structure of the guild and how the guild operates.  PRs should strive to know the mechanics of the guild, if not, why join us!

PRs that don't make it into FoE usually break a guild rule or do not spend enough time on TeamSpeak to make friends.
