[Chapter Eight:  Guild Meeting]

Fist of the Empire utilizes Guild Meetings as a means of communicating ideas and receiving feed back from members and leaders.   There are three official meetings in the guild, OP-FoE, STRAT-FoE and Guild Meetings.  Each of these meetings are designed to hit a specific target audience for information distribution and coordination.

Guild Meeting:  This is everyone within Fist of the Empire, including PRs unless otherwise expressed.  The Guild Meeting occurs once a quarter.  This is a top down driven meeting highlighting any changes in policy, heralding success and discuss future endeavors of the guild.

STRAT-FoE Meeting:  STRAT-FoE meetings are top-level staff meetings lead by the GXO.  At a minimum the Guild Leader or Deputy Guild Leader, GXO, C1, C2, C3 and C4 must attend.  The following is the meeting agenda, items can be added to, but nothing can be taken away from the minimum standard:

Role Call:  Conducted by GXO to ensure everyone is here.

C1 (Personnel):  

1. Provides total number of members in the guild


2. Briefs by name, Members that have left guild


3. Provides total number of PRs (across all MSC)


4. Briefs by name, PRs that are “Green” Status


5. Briefs by name, PRs that are going to be removed


6. Provides feed back on awards


7. Provides feed back on any issues for web site, security roles.

C2 (Intelligence):  

1. Briefs any new games added to BML


2. Briefs any major changes for games on the BML

C3 (Operations):  

1. Briefs the Calendar, discusses events 3 weeks out


2. Briefs Help Tickets, Open and closed


3. Briefs any Operational Issues that need to be addressed

C4 (Logistics):

1. Briefs Guild assets


2. Help manage the guild fund drives

C5 (Public Relations):

1. Provide any updates to the Dominion Guild List


2. Discuss any public announcements made


3. Brief upcoming Guild Newsletter

C6 (IT Support):  Provides any updates and outages for the FoE web server.

MSC CDRS:  MSC CDRs will be asked for feed back or bring any issues to the STRAT-FoE.  MSC CDRs are addressed in numerical order (1MSC, 2MSC, etc).

Guidance:  The guild leader will put out any additional guidance for the upcoming weeks.

“Around the Horn” (Feed back):  The last part of the meeting, any one can bring up last minute comments.  The Guild Leader will go down the list of personnel in the channel.

OP-FoE Meeting:  OP-FoE meetings are ran by either the XO or MSC CDR.  The meeting is comprised of S1, S2, S3 and S4 who provide feed back on their areas.  The meeting follows the same format as the STRAT-FoE meeting but scaled to address the topics of the MSC.

Guild Meetings:  The Guild Meeting is an all inclusive member where all members and sometime PRs get briefed on the direction of the guild.  This is usually run by either the Guild Leader or Deputy Guild Leader.  Guild Meetings usually take place once a quarter and address success and highlight upcoming guild wide events, new MSCs, Awards, and just about anything else.

At the end of the meeting the Guild Leader will ask for any feed back from the member base.  This is an excellent time for PRs and Members to ask any question or provide feed back.
